Deploy Your First AI Agent in 5 Minutes

Getting started with ClawSnap takes less than five minutes. By the end of this guide, you'll have a fully operational AI agent running on its own dedicated virtual machine, ready to chat, execute tasks, and connect to your messaging channels.

What You Get

When you deploy an agent on ClawSnap, you're not spinning up a sandboxed chatbot. You're provisioning a dedicated Hetzner Cloud VM with:

Your agent runs 24/7 on this machine. It has persistent memory, can install packages, run cron jobs, and connect to Telegram, Discord, WhatsApp, and Slack simultaneously.

Step 1: Create Your Account

Head to clawsnap.dev and sign up. You get a 5-day free trial with no credit card required. During the trial, you can deploy one agent with full capabilities.

Step 2: Deploy an Agent

From your dashboard, click Create Agent. Choose your agent type:

  • ZeroClaw — Lightweight, fast, perfect for chat and automations
  • OpenClaw — Full runtime with 50+ skills, HTTP API, and sub-agents

Select your VM size and click Deploy. ClawSnap provisions your VM, installs the agent runtime, and starts the gateway. You'll see the status move from Provisioning to Installing to Ready.

Step 3: Start Chatting

Once your agent is ready, open the Chat tab. Your agent is live and listening. Try asking it to:

  • Research a topic and summarize findings
  • Write and execute a Python script
  • Set up a daily briefing automation
  • Install a skill like web search or email

Step 4: Connect Channels

Want your agent on Telegram? Go to the Channels tab, click Telegram, and follow the setup. Your agent will respond in Telegram with the same memory and personality as the web chat.
